Racheung is the ML
MC becomes the head of the family in the future, the kids she has with Racheung will be heirs to each respective clan
MC’s mom is from the demonic cult, the head of the demonic cult (the guy with the really really long hair) is her grandfather - but members of the demonic cult especially the leader don’t care about blood relations)
The MC’s Aunt was the one behind her losing her martial arts in the beginning. She will try to do the same to the older cousin Meungook (or whatever his name is) but will get caught and interrogated this time. She’ll get kicked out of the family. Apparently the grandmother knew all along and tried to keep it hushed up so she banned from ever leaving her house and her influence in the compound diminished.
We’re only like 1/3 of the way through the novel - there’s a lot that still hasn’t happened. If you could ask specific questions that would be better.
( ̄∇ ̄")
It’s really confusing. So his backstory is that he was a poor boy whose village gets attacked by martial artists, he has an innate gift for martial arts and gets so good at it, he could become a god and ascend. Except he hates martial artists and refuses godhood to instead eradicate martial arts from the immortal world. He works with the jaegal clan (at the time) to develop the qi blocking poison (the same poison that the MC’s dad is suffering from).
He also reincarnates, with each reiteration becoming stronger.
A few people are stronger than him — MC’s dad euigang and yayul’s mom baek ki-hyeon. He figures out that if they have kids, then they get weaker. So he’s the reason MC and yayul are born.
Because of this, MC and yayul are both regressors since they were born bc of his meddling.
I’ll write more later
The demon lord is also tasked with finding the wayfinder - which I think is someone who has the power to change destiny, and the more they alter it, the more powerful he grows cause he won’t be restrained by destiny either. The wayfinder changes with every reincarnation and it’s Yeon this time (but honestly it’s so confusing)
Yayul ends up betraying Yeon and she never forgives him for that.
There’s a big martial arts tournament and during it, yayul reveals that Yeon’s mother is from the Demonic Cult and her dad slept with her. Everyone part of the martial alliance begins hunting them and they have to go into hiding.
Seok is the crown prince, it’s why he can order the physician around lol. He admires how intent Yeon is on being part of the Baekgri clan despite everyone trying to push them out that he decides not to give up on being the crown prince too (despite all those assassins being sent after him, that’s why he’s always with the physician. It’s not because he’s sick. It’s just that his life is threatened a lot.). At one point, he tells her he can protect her if she became his betrothed. She would be the crown princess and protected but that would mean giving up martial arts forever. Yeon refuses.
Yes he survives but comes very close to death.
See, in the novel there is two types of energy. Internal Qi and vital energy (life essence). Yeon uses vital energy, drawing power from nature and within herself to use martial arts since she can’t use Qi.
Yeon’s fight with the Heavenly Demon Lord leaves her on deaths doorstep cause Yeon used too much of her vital energy. To save her, her dad pours all his energy (both Qi and vital) into her. That causes him to nearly die. Raychung saves him by pouring a little of his energy into Euigang.
Because the poison in his system is designed to drain him of his Qi, and Euigang essentially did that to himself in his effort to revive Yeon, the poison disappeared once he was saved. But I think his hair goes white from the experience.

can anyone spoil me of everything??? i can't sit and wait anymoooore
