Usually i dont mind side couples getting their screen time but i heard theres really little chapters left so i just want more of our main couple

I'd probably like it more if it wasn't in the middle of the other two. If we had gotten the ending and then shifted, I'd be more happy.

That being said I am interested to see how it plays out!!

I personally don't like most manhwa that split the focus this much. I prefer when I'm able to sink into one couple at a time- but thats also personal preference tbf

I don't hate him, but I don't especially love him. he's a necessary side character as the bridge between brett and Hayden, but because he's written to contrast both of them personality-wise(he's impulsive and hedonistic vs their comparative levelheadedness), which also supports his bridging role as the person who gets into trouble > trouble brings the mains together. I think he's just in an awkward, paradoxical spot where the author has to spend screentime on his background and shenanigans to set up the situations that eventually affect the main couple, but despite all that screentime, scott doesn't get enough to show anything to charm or endear the audience to him in some way if you're not already predisposed to like his type of character in terms of personality or design. I think that's somewhat of a weakness for the creator since I think the art style isn't quite expressive enough for the side characters to appeal to readers even when they're not talking.
