If it helps he does mellow out quite a bit in later chapters. It does take a while though, but the story in later chapters doesn't include him a ton. Of course in my opinion all he really has going for him is his face, he's kinda boring as a person so far. I like the princess so much that the ml is quite forgettable, which is definitely not a good thing, but oh well. Maybe I'll remember him more often when he actually developes a personality. The latest chapters as of my making this comment are my absolute favorites so far. Mel is pretty politically, and economically devious, and ravencrook absolutely is getting slapped in the MOST satisfying way. I hope you choose to keep reading. Yes the ml is boring, but the princess is wickedly smart and fun to read in my opinion.
So I'm 28 chapters in and I have zero interest in the ogML. I'm hoping he doesn't become the actual ML because it's not interesting and not believable. It would be more interesting and cute if she spent all her time trying to heal his younger brother and slowly got to know him. Spending all her time on trying to keep him happy, so that the ogML doesn't kill her dad, and slowly falling for him. I'm very very VERY tired of the attitude problem with the ogML. I get it and in another manga, I might enjoy, but in this one? It feels tired and overdone already.
