there's gonna be rape in this to and btw grow the fuck up and just say rape and Passion's not even bad just skip the rape if you have such a problem with it. And yes you can read this without Passion but you would miss a lot of xinlu's character and what kind of person he is. Personally I don't know why people have such a problem with rape scenes in fiction I guess it's just how you see the world typa thing. But Passions such a good story if you really get it.

I was just not comfortable of explicitly saying rape and with reading the scenes itself. Tbh there's other great stories out there without ML having to rape MC for love to bud, or maybe ML having redemption arc by the end and kneeling to have MC back or some shit. Ilay in the other hand doesnt have either of that so thats why i dropped it by ch 60ish. I heard that xinlu in this spinoff ended up being the hopeless romantic for yuri so thats why i was interested in his character growth.

My bad I like stories where the Ml doesn't do that because it would make no sense for the mc to forgive them. And I read all types of stories but I like reading stuff like Passion because it's deep. Ilay did soften up a bit but his whole personality didn't do a 360 which is the more realistic take. Also you could also just read the first 2 or 3 seasons because that's where Xinlus most prominent.
yeah but sometimes people just don't want to see it to me it doesn't matter if it happens in the story it matters how the character will later react to it and how they try to take action like this is BL I would be surprised if the guy didn't retaliate. But honestly I don't care if I see rape in fiction it's just how they handle the character dynamic and I like it in Passion.
Personally I don't even think passion had "rape" scenes. Like taeui just went along with it and even enjoyed it. Passion is quite deep and I hate when people just reduce ilay to a psychopath rapist when he clearly isn't...
Exactly bro but I don't think Tay ever really enjoyed it in the first 3 seasons but later on I see what you're saying and you're so right about Ilay they never really take a deep look at his character they just take whats at face value.
Usually in real life scenarios a predator would excuse their actions of rape and SA by claiming that the victim “enjoyed it!” It’s kind of odd to think this way don’t you think? The body obviously reacts when stimulated but that doesn’t indicate the enjoyment of SA or rape so your point is not reasonable. They call him a psycho rapist because that’s unfortunately what he is.
Well the fact that he was born a spoiled brat with a diamond spoon doesn't help much his superiority complex but I see him as kinda autistic yk like he didn't understand what he was doing wrong so he was even sulking in the recent chapters cause taeui was avoiding him "for no reason" (he thought). It probably sounds like an excuse but I think he's pretty misunderstood
Girl you got his his character all wrong he's the complete opposite of what you think he is he knows what he's doing he just doesn't care as long as he gets pleasure out of it he's literally a serial rapist in the novel. He just treats Tay a way better compared to his one night stands.

Do i have to complete reading passion first before starting this? Like i'm very interested in the story for the art but i'm not a fan of passion or ilay at all with all the grape scenes... if i have to finish that first, can at least anyone fill me in the story from start to finish? An initial warning if theres any grape scenes in here would be great too...
