I’m giving this 10-15 more chapters for MC to start realizing what he has going on with Ray is toxic and he was groomed… I don’t want to write it off immediately, since there is always the chance the author could properly explore this dynamic and show how difficult it is for the victim to break free of a relationship like that— as well as demonstrate why it’s so wrong. We have hope, but not much tbh. It will most likely be glossed over with some conflict bc Ray won’t let him go and yada yada toxic, indecisive, and unnecessary drama T-T I want to see some trauma properly handled for once guys, is that too much to aaaaaaask????
