I also don't typically read historical and the way they talk is genuinely pissing me off I might pick it up later because I have like 5 others to read
if i’m being honest his abuse was short in my opinion it was violent but there’s more chapters of them being in love then there are of those chapters it’s worth to keep reading, but i did see how you didn’t like the dialogue that’s understandable but the art and story gets better the more you read

I'm not even 10 chapters in yet and I genuinely hate this. I like the idea, but this raises so many red flags for me just in the first few chapters that I can't let myself read more of it.
