to give more details about the "love triangle"... there IS a love triangle, at least in the beginning, but it's not really something to be taken too seriously. it's made very clear who the real love interest is, and the third guy is moreso a plot device rather than a legitimate candidate for endgame. so yes, there is a love triangle, but it's not the kind of love triangle where the audience can't decide who the mc should end up with lol
it has plot beyond romance, but it's not emotionally heavy if that's what you mean by too dramatic
