I'm pretty sure it was because you included a 'forbidden' emoji (every emoji apart from the like less than 20 that the site allows for some reason). When you do the paragraph from that emoji to the end is just cut off :/. Either way I suggest to copy a comment every time you're about to post it, that's what I do to avoid randomly losing all my yapping.
As for the comments with the ratings, it might have to do with the recent bug that deleted all comments and reading lists? I'm not sure, I usually only use the Topics section

yes gurl I have started to use the mangago emoticons available below like these ╥﹏╥ or i js type my own emoticons out like T_T (it's my fav one) if im being more artistic I'll type it out like (T_T) to make a face, (TvT) variant too. sometimes i also use (^v^), or the classic :) or ;) and if I'm being sarcastic i use ;P. classic old school emoticons are SO BACK all thnx to mgg i feel like a HS student in early 00's typing ts out and posting it on FB for my frnds to see lol.

ok what the fuck is going on with comments on this here website????? i literally type up whole paragraphs and when i post the comment, only the first sentence shows up. this most recent time, i posted a comment, went to edit it, and the entire thing except one sentence had disappeared. what???? also the personal comments and notes you leave on the ratings page doesn’t stay either. is this a bug?? it’s annoying
the story i was reading and commenting on was Blossom of the White Flower by BWAT. i was tryinngggg to say how the main characters are emotionally inept and it’s pissing me off but i’ve no plans to rewrite my rant
