I sympathize with Garam even though I hate their miscommunication. It’s hard dating someone who’s overwhelmingly confident like Jaehyuk since he’s never been a reject/outcast, while Garam has such personal trauma of being outed, blamed, and betrayed. Both have a point, Jaehyuk is right that they cannot hide their relationship forever, but coming out to everyone without helping Garam get over his own trauma first is NOT the way to go. Jaehyuk almost telling his straight friends about their relationship in public is like extreme exposure therapy for Garam, too sudden, too much, no time to mentally prepare/protect himself. Garam should recognize that Jaehyuk is 1000% committed to their relationship, but Jaehyuk also needs to see that Garam needs healing first, a person can’t just magically get over their insecurities just bc their partner loves them. Social pressure/rejection is real and if you’ve never been on the receiving end of it, you wouldn’t understand the fear
