I DESPISE THAT TROUPE AS WELL like every time i see it it fills me with an almost unparalleled rage. every time it rears its ugly face i want to reach through the screen AND VIOLENTLY SHAKE THE PERSON PERPETUATING IT it’s so fucked up on like a number of levels. like not only is it illogical to blame a child and severely morally reprehensible to mistreat one (regardless of whether it’s neglect or outright abuse) but also i doubt the mothers who died would be appreciate the child they loved and sacrificed for to bring into the world being treated poorly it’s like disrespecting the mother who passed as well and it’s also like that child. is what you have left of someone you loved. to not cherish that seems stupid. me personally if i died to bring my child into the world only for my partner to mistreat said child out of 'love' for me id have no choice but to become a wraith AND KILL THAT MFER
