i think this is not the manhwa where one should ask for switching, but "our sunny days", and "third decade" can be good ones for switch. i feel like minyeong only bottoming for cheol is a great addition to show the "obsessive" side of him.
I see what you’re saying. It definitely makes sense form Minyeong’s side, but I was more so thinking from Cheol’s side it would be interesting to explore since he’s so disgusted by the thought of bottoming.
Either way, I don’t think this author would switch them cause I’ve read their other work and both bottoms look very similar in design just different color pallet. So I think the author has a specific styling for their bottoms.
I get that Minyoung being the bottom is one of the aspects that makes this story interesting. And I’m not saying Cheol needs to be the bottom instead, but I’ve always been intrigued my switching dynamics for the sole fact that it’s rare. And I feel like this is the perfect story to explore that. Not cause Minyoung is more dominant cause “power bottoms” have always been a thing. But because of 2 things:
Minyoung mostly tops but is bottoming for cheol cause he knows Cheol hates to bottom. And Cheol anlmost threw up once trying to bottom.
I feel like those reason songs make it feel less like a preference thing and more like some sort of psychological issue Cheol has considering he does seem to have a bit of internalized homophobia as well. So it would be interesting to explore why he doesn’t want to and if it really is just preference.
