I would have been down if it was a "everyone sucks and no one gets to be happy" type story. Like an cautionary tale and how in the end both characters who have done atrocious deeds will in the end loose everything they held dear.
That kind of fucked up sht would at least be interesting in a "there is an accident on the road and you can't help but look" type way. But RN I can't help but feel that the story is justifying horrific things by saying "that person is a victim too". And then prioritize the sex scenes, which tbh are really well done (out of context). It just leaves a ok now I am frustrated. (I'm now way invested in karma than what I initially came here for and I don't think that's what the author planned ).
Still hoping that the story will end with both characters getting karma and not be "they're now togethe and meant for each other". Bc quite frankly I don't think both of them deserve any ounce of a happy ending and have everything forgiven.
It’s definitely not an “everyone gets karma” story since Juyeon gets his happy ending: his man on lock (in chains), academic success, and all the boy pussy he wants. The author knew what they were doing and the reader is almost encouraged to just get off on what Jiwook is going through guilt-free because he’s a bad person. I think people should be aware of that or else they’ll be setting themselves up for frustration.

Still, I can't say it's a well executed "guilt free guilty pleasure" since we're 30 ch in and a gangrape has alr happened, with no "sad backstory that explains or hints at a grey zone". Would have probably be on board if the story at least teased about things being not so simple as it seemed. Like the two actually knowing each other or that the seme has a grudge. Bc up until now, I just feel like everything is going too far without a reason.
But I think for my sanities sake I'll just drop the story bc it ain't doin me any good

Hey so this is insane. None of the characters are even remotely redeemable. I dont understand what the writers were thinking, I know what happens in the rest of the story and I think ALL the characters need to just be sent to jail (life sentences guys). Tag this as horror or something because this is NOT just drama and psychological, I just read something way tamer that was labeled horror but this isnt, okay... its dissapointing because I do enjoy the artstyle but ive also heard the other stories from this author are just as bad. Like I wish I could give this a negative rating. Praying I dont get slimed out for this
