I’m not completely sure about her age, but assuming the translations are correct she came back 4 years after her death. I believe the sword saint’s “children” aren’t actually his biologically kids, but instead heirs who might take his place. If I understood correctly, the next sword saint has to be acknowledged by him and the emperor. Also, not sure if he’s necessarily evil or just wants what the Viscount has/its conflict of interest but he seems a bit morally gray for essentially owning an assassins guild, I agree. It’s also possible he was evil but they just agreed to takedown a common enemy during war/Mephisto. The art is super pretty and I’m glad you’re also enjoying the story, so I hope this helped (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
