There's no rape whatsoever in the novel, the villain only reverse guides mc, but there's no rape, they also skipped and switched multiple scenes from what I've noticed while skimming. For example, mc is kidnapped with ml's younger sibling while buying a cake for his birthday surprise party, at a street. By the time the kidnapping takes place, ml already knows mc has only 3 months to live cuz he found out after a few days (mc said he wants them to live separately, and ml deduced smth has been wrong since mc guided the future-seeing esper so he watches the cctv, then goes back ot their house and talks with him) also mc has no dreams where he's being sexually assaulted by the villain.
Honestly, a few changes is fine cause the novel itself is quite short so I would understand if they wanted to prolong the manhwa and decided to add a few additional details. But, they decided to use the most awful and disturbing plot points for what was a simple, feel good novel. I don't know who was in charge for the manhwa script but I hope they never take charge of another adaptation again. More like, I hope people who use SA as a plot points without bothering to represent it properly, stay away and leave good books alone

For those who are planning to drop this or were frustrated with the rape scene, please please please read the novel instead. It's quite short, well written and there is NO RAPE. The MC and ML's first time may seem dubious but actually, both knew what they were getting into(I'm trying not to give much info so I hope you get the gist). The novel's author doesn't deserve her work to be diminished cause the adaptation decided on the rape route for reasons only God knows.
The novel is light hearted, funny yet also has major plot points. Pleaseee read it instead and support the novel's author. Don't let this poor representation turn you away from the original work. ┗( T﹏T )┛
