i've seen a lottt of artists seem to really like being barefoot on stage. especially smaller/indie folks who dont have random fire or special effects (which can hurt people). although i remember i saw the all american rejects (for free!), and the lead singer was barefoot. very artistic, free spirit vibes--i loved that little detail
