right?? it feels like an earnest, honest, and open-minded exploration. whereas in a lot of BL, i feel like the characters are like "i always top >:(" and it feels like a dominance thing, proving yourself, or being "the man" of the relationship, which kinda icks me out. here, he was open to either and found out his preference, so it didn't feel like sexual position was an intrinsic trait or a promotion/demotion.
