Tbh, this story could’ve been really good if it hadn’t felt so rushed. With more detail in both the plot and the characters’ reactions, it has a lot of potential. The main issue is that some conflicts aren’t taken seriously, like Cesare’s actions. He was let off far too easily, and it was brushed off or even turned into a comedic moment when it was actually something serious. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the humor in the story, but I wish the author had drawn a clearer line between what should be treated seriously and what can be played for comedy.
There are also some scenes that could’ve been really impactful, like the ceremony where the culprit was planning to hurt Taejoo but it was executed poorly, which made it feel like a wasted opportunity. All that buildup and rising tension just led to a weak payoff. I understand tho since drawing with deadline is really hard, just felt bad cause i like the story’s plot and characters a lot.
Anyways, what bothers me the most though, is how easily Cesare’s actions were brushed off. That part was especially frustrating and honestly made me mad and ruined the overall story for me.
