so for the people saying that the story is dragging just admit you lack reading comprehension, it feels that way if you’re mainly reading for the romance since the original novel isn’t romance focused like that, it’s very plot heavy and tries to balance both. if anything, the manhwa already leans more into the romance compared to the novel, so these recent chapters only feel slow if you’re expecting constant relationship or smut progression. As someone who read the novel, this part actually feels pretty fast-paced to me, i think it’s just a mismatch of expectations. If you’re going into Passion mainly for romance, especially if the other novels get adapted, it might not hit the way you want because the story never really becomes purely romance driven

Nah its not even just the romance part, the plot is dragged as hell too. Wtff. I thought maybe bc it came from a novel and its normal for manhwas like that to be a bit long, but this is just milking it atp helppp

Dragged compared to what tho? Because if you’re used to fast-paced, plot-light manhwas then yeah, this is obviously gonna feel slow. But Passion was never written like that in the first place, the story actually builds things step by step instead of rushing through plot points just to get to the interesting parts. What looks like dragging is usually setup, world-building, and character groundwork that pays off later, and honestly, the manhwa already simplifies a lot compared to the novel, so calling it “milking it” is a bit unfair, maybe it’s just not for you

Nah ive read longer paced manhwas too, this one's rly objectively a bit dragged on. Like bro tae's been stucked in that villa for how many chapters now just chilling. wth is happening. I appreciate a well thought out plot that gradually builds up things, but in here for example, their dialogues are too long and sometimes they just keep on circling back on stuff.

Well this is the longest arc in the first passion novel and in the manhwa it’s actually very shortened so i don’t understand how it’s ’objectively dragged’ because if ilay saved taeui immediately it would definitely be unrealistic and considered bad writing, Since Rahman isn’t just anybody ilay can mess with easily, he’s literal loyalty, he won’t be able to get away with it (and he in fact gets into a lots of trouble just to get taeui out)

Yesss. This part in the novel does a lot to establish the brotherly bond between Taeui and Jaeui. And as someone who was suspicious of Jaeui for a while,(considering their uncle and Jaeui's chosen line of work) it was very needed. The webtoon is leaning more into the longing Taeui has come to naturally feel for Ilay.

YESSS FINALLYYY SOMEONE who understands thank you, the manhwa adaptation isn’t all that bad but it definitely fails to capture a lots of details in the novel
