it is the force of bl rather than him. in the world of bl even mob looking guys can be protagonist, like how beta can be in ABO setting. there is no limit to imagination.
however personally i would love that unrealiable narrative to be explored. at least he seems cool and fun from his brother's friends' pov. he also have plenty of friends. he still call himself mob bc his life is not as meaningful as other, i still agree. no competition, no extracurricular, no best friend, no lover, so yeah normal in manga just scream mob. he is only an observer just a while ago, before he got confessed

I hope author dives into the unreliable narrator aspect of the story, he acts so cool from the pov of others.
