Tbh your confusion is valid bc idk if even the author knows wtf they're writing. I think your assumptions are correct and we are supposed to assume Miriam is the actual evil ? ?
((But srsly seeing how the writing is going, I would not be surprised if it was another lame plot twist like "Miriam's god parents suddenly were killed by the Dull Father (probably bc they were also, actually, secretly evil!!!!) so she had to go back to her world.... and enact her GRIEF-FILLED REVENGE

Miriam is the God that the people are worshipping but chose to love a mere human that is Junho and goes to other God.But 500 years ago she and redhead guy and Damian are love triangle even tho Redhead guy don't like her and it seems that she also doesn't like him.
The other God has a daughter and that's the silver hair woman. And that silver hair woman is a demon and become human?
So Miriam the God and people worship is the real evil in this story.?
