Hang in there. He's not an entire pushover -- he's a grown adult with a different definition of patience... plus, Veronica is 15 I believe? So I think he is actually kind of more.. treating her like a child? He isn't taking her anger personally, because fighting her with more anger could potentially just cause her to act more defensive, and MC is someone that values understanding people over fighting them
