One of the things I also like in this story is how the dad and grandpa treats the crown prince. In most childcare stories, dads and grandparents tend to have beef with the potential MLs even when they're a kid due to their protectiveness of the mc. While it is entertaining to read in some stories, it does get a bit annoying at some point to see grown adults having beef with literal kids. Here, however, both dad and grandpa treat the crown prince like a kid, instead of making snide remarks (even though it's pretty much guaranteed at this point, that tiel will end up marrying him).
Just reread this and I love this so much. Thees extra chapters on everyday life and them in their chonky cute animal forms jabzjzja while also keeping the classic animal insticts/traits despite being shapshifters like playing with Frisbees and yarn balls. The parents' relationships are also so cute and good and given a short view on how the parents are loving to each other and dhow their relationship fostered aaaaa.
ML is so good too. He just wants the best for FL and sjdjsjs such a good boy. Have I said how much I love the chunky animal forms? Cause I do and they're so cute and good. I also love Olivier(?). A cousin but she is a wolf so it gives a short shine on how genetics work in this universe cause she is an exact copy of her dad. Also I love all the adults (the relevant good ones) silliness.
Fl dad being caring and loving to his children equally and FL being an overpowered child that theyre doing their best to give her a happy life after being miserable for the first 7 years. Also the siblings and cousin and Prince friendship is so fun. The ml acts like a crown prince but also relaxes when able whenever he is with fl and her siblings. I also like the comical beef they have with each other in being tiel's favourite hahah.
