sombrero is actually the name of a galaxy but now everyone just thinks of squidward’s goofy sombrero hat
I did do some research for that, but when choosing a name, you kind of need to consider the common definition. For us (and any Koreans who know what a Sombrero is) it’s… a hat
We REALLY couldn’t find a name that was better than Sombrero? Like, you could’ve made his name galaxy-based since he’s from a distant planet, maybe a name based off his personality traits, a name based on mystery, a name based on plants to tie into the whole flowerpot thing, etc. NO. His name is HAT.
