Uh, I hate to break it to you but byul was abandoned by his mom. It’s just that he actually came back to be a parent, but he still knew about it and was hurt by it.

Sorry for the long reply, this isn’t an attack whatsoever. I just want to clarify. Let’s not compare Hyesung’s situation. He never really wanted the baby and was baby trapped by Dojin gaslit him into having the baby. Dojin even paid him as if he’s a surrogate, and Hyesung said no and just gave birth and left. He was planning to stay but overheard something and anxiously left. He was barely a minor, I don’t remember though. He wasn’t abandoned in the same way Hyesung’s mother abandoned Hyesung. I mean it’s still abandonment I guess in strict terms but it’s just not comparable, because Hyesung’s mom abandoned him for nearly his whole life and started a new family while knowing she left him in the hands of an abuser. Hyesung was being gaslighted into thinking it’s fine and was being hidden by Dojin’s friend, he never really had a choice after being raped. Did it still hurt byul? Sure but he was there for him in about every milestone. It’s something he would’ve never found out as a newborn unless told. I’d be more pissed off that my mother was basically forced to give birth, but I’m guessing Byul doesn’t know. He’s a kid so he shouldn’t have to hear all of this of course.

I just wouldn’t call it strictly abandonment, considering he didn’t leave Byul in the hands of an abuser. He left him in a safe place where Dojin would come and take care of him. It wasn’t abuse in the slightest. Honeyhawk isn’t completely wrong that Byul doesn’t know what it’s like to be living after abandonment, he was still taken care of, Hyesung came back pretty soon, Byul received attention love etc, all the things Hyesung didn’t.

It’s just not the same. But I’m not saying Byul can’t be hurt a little. Sorry again for the ramble

My thoughts EXACTLY!!! Byul has lived such a privileged, care free, happy, loving life. He does not know a thing about Hyesung's trauma. I'd absolutely be DEVASTATED if both my child and supposed soulmate went behind my back and tried to reconcile with the woman who abandoned me my entire life, erased me from her life, started fresh with a new family, and left me with an abuser. That shit rewires your brain. Trauma lives and breathes with you in whatever you do. Byul and Dojin are incredibly selfish in going behind Hyesung's back. They truly don't understand the hurt and pain that stupid bitch has caused him. Byul doesn't even REMEMBER being abandoned!!

I know about all of that, and it’s truly a red ass flag for dojin. And he’s been one the whooooole span of the previous comic. (Sleeping with him for inspiration, making up things to keep him locked down in the house, baby trapping, Ect)

The matter stands that he was abandoned for a short period, regardless of if he was kept with a loving father or not. It still hurts, and since he found that out by a late night convo, it’s a wonder what else he heard. Yeah he was so young to have no memory of the abandonment, but in the end still happened. And hyesung is the only one shouldering that guilt (which makes me so upset because of baby trapping, while dojin gets off Scott free)

Also I do not side with hyesungs mom at all, I made a long post about how he’d be better off just seeing her and then going forward having nothing to do with her. But the two idiot alphas in the house won’t shut up about giving her a chance when they have no true idea of what hyesungs been through with both of them.

Like you’d expect dojin to care since he saw it first hand and heard everything, yet only the dad gets the brunt while she gets away with it and reaps a house and living expenses. The only difference is 1, she was also abused so some sympathy and 2, shes an omega.

Like this world gets real soft and forgiving with omegas it seems, like look at chowon lol.
