Two can be true. While I understand MC’s anger towards the biased system, I do pity ML. And while I understand ML’s doing this because of said promise, I feel like this should’ve been communicated prior in case MC forgot, so to MC this all feels like betrayal in a way. However, I still don’t think MC’s abnormal reaction is justified.
I forgot to mention, but you’d need to pay close attention to see how much MC does in reality care for ML. Especially when ML comes to find him, MC is scared to be caught in that situation—a bit more than the terrible situation I believe. It could just be his pride, dignity, but I don’t believe he would let just anyone fuck him if he didn’t have some sort of feelings for someone. It has yet to blossom in full, and I’m not patient so I was a bit riled up. Hehe to be honest I kind of forget what I write in heat of moment, feel free to correct me or add on anything I missed.

Why are some people trying to act like ML is equally stupid as MC? Okay, you can argue that. I don’t believe ML is the smartest or brightest. But why act like there isn’t a reason to be disappointed with the MC? The same one who gave few punches and bandages after being raped. The same one who dismissed ML’s concern. Sure, MC forgot the promise, that’s fine. He also passed off ML’s confession as a joke, it’s not shocking or new.
Clearly, ML was never taken seriously in these aspects by the MC. Whereas the ML has shown more interest, more concern over the rape, his well being etc…but somehow, he is equal to said stupidity? He is equal to the action of bandaging a rapist? Why get upset that some want ML to move on, even as an act?
I usually side with the omegas, so it’s not like I hate omegas more or double standards. I also usually love it more when the ML gives more to MC than Vice versa. But this is kind of crazy.
Are we not concerned about how some of you are more upset by ML (for wanting to ‘take over’ company) than the MC’s reaction to being raped? God forbid ML isn’t competitive and took MC’s words seriously. God forbid he doesn’t give up everything for the MC. He has given his love and attention to the MC, what more? If MC can only give or reciprocate love by taking over the company, I fear the relationship won’t last long.
I don’t even choose to dislike MC, trust me. I am disappointed in the degradation of his character. I heard the author even blocked someone for complaining, even locals were mad. Also, this feels OOC for MC to do.
I haven’t read raws, so maybe he did punish the Secretary more, I don’t know. But only from the chapters I have read, this is my thoughts.
