It lies in intent, motive. JH did not want to be subjected under an alphas authority, the entire reason he started fighting was because he wanted to prove he could be as strong as any other alpha no matter his secondary gender, Which was then ruined by suah adulterating JH success by making it dependent on himself, aka the you know what. JH intent was not to take control AWAY from Suah rather Gain his own control over his body back which he COULD NOT GET without suahs you know what. His coerciveness came from wanting to gain control over his own body back rather than robbing Suah of his. His motive was not to take anything away from Suah, But take what is his own back. Saying that JH is "more coercive than Suah" Implies that he went above and beyond subjecting another person's body to irreversible change and dependency. He didnt. He wanted control over his own body and success in his sport, but even then he was forced to wager his athletic prowess on a factor he was forced to become dependent on.

What bullcrap! all of the flashbacks show him (JH) thinking he was gonna be the alpha just like his mom, and he was gonna marry his destined omega neighbour.. That didn't happen and he became an asshole... Not sure what everyone else is reading but victim mentality is strong in these comments

The reason he envisioned himself an alpha was because he wanted to keep suah safe(who he then believed was an omega) once that scenario was shattered he started adapting to his secondary gender with the motive to show he could still be as strong and as powerful as an omega, he didnt "become an asshole" bro he had to adapt to being at the bottom of the hierarchy and prove that despite that he could still be as strong as an alpha

Also, yeah he barricaded himself from suah because he was insecure and wanted to get stronger BUT THAT DOESN'T EXCUSE SUAH VIOLATING HIM IN MULTIPLE CIRCUMSTANCES or argue against the fact by saying "JH is strong though"
