I see you but the thing is she isn’t really the villain, she’s an antagonist alright. The story paint the emperor as a daddy’s girl but in all truth he is just using her. And the only reason the princess 2nd life is different is because she showed him early on she had some uses.
Currently her character is a tad but bland but as the story develops we’ll definitely see more as she starts doing things that prioritise herself but doesn’t align with the emperor. This will show her true jealousy as it stems from not getting love and the abuse while it seems our Mc was surrounded by people who cared for her. She misplaced her resentment and put it on our mc as she was greedy for her life.
this is a refreshing story it has less cliches and the plot is actually kinda unique. i just wish the blonde girl had a little more depth to her character cuz she's just an infuriating jealous toxic evil bitch but like... i just like to read stories where the villains have more depth to them i guess.
