If training in one physical thing made you good enough to defeat ppl who have specialised training in the specialised sector, all martial artists would be Olympic gold medals, wouldn’t they?
Actually, Grayson didn't win because of a supposed "alpha advantage," since in this universe dominant omegas are more powerful. SPOILER... But he kind of took advantage of the help Dane gave him (you'll see in the next chapter), and also in the novel Dane states that he didn't see any advantage in risking much more just to win.

Well Dominant Omega is much stronger than Dominant Alpha. So does make it a plot armor of Dane too since he’s a Dominant Omega? It will take up to 5 Dominant Alpha just to suppress a 1 dominant Omega. And a Dominant Omega can easily take down less than 5 Dominant Alphas. So does it feel that Dane is kind of disadvantaged if he is that strong by trait because he is a dominant omega?
No this is not just a dom Alpha thing. Grayson and Nathaniel as well had all sorts of training to protect themselves in any situation. Chase won't stand a chance in this situation despite being a dom Alpha (he also has Alpha strength ) as he never went any trainings . So no its not about just being an Alpha here.
That 5 alpha thing is regarding using pheromones to cause a dominant alpha into heat. I mean physical strength and capabilities, special training for certain line of work. A dominant omega is superior regarding pheromones not being ‘naturally’ gifted in physical strength
