Like other reply said, I think this time around it's just naturally art style changing a bit in time. Usually it's clear twinkifying and I hate it with passion, but this time around I don't really see it.
Of course once they finally have sex again and if MC looks like a skinny weak child with stupidly surprise expressions I will take that all back.
