I don't know where this story's headed though I think the original was also rushed and it's been a long time since I've read it so I think he runs away too before he dies but it was absolutely heartbreaking unlike usual where there's revelations acceptance of feelings or any kind of hopeful moment, there was none for this manhwa towards the end it just got more heartbreaking like it was even more tragic towards the end, the plot wasn't too deeply explored then so it seemed a bit rushed, but since it has rebooted i think the author will extend and flesh out the sufferring even more if it truly sticks to the BE
