Yeah, I agree with you. It used to be just these three (Dominant Alpha/Omega)
(Alpha/Omega) (Recessive Alpha/ Omega.) Now there's so much "ranking" that it just sounds so dumb lol

sounds like omegaverse is trying to build their own version of S to E rank power levels but whoever is S rank gets to rape everyone else.

Here's the blueprint, maybe it will take off since everyone's so creative these days with adding bs to their verses (I'm talking about you enigma).

Hyper hyper dominant alpha = SS
Hyper dominant alpha = S
Dominant alpha = A
Alpha = B
Recessive alpha = C
Hyper recessive alpha = D
Hyper hyper recessive alpha = E

Yeah I wasn't very upset when it was like one or two "hyper-xyz alpha/omega" cause in my eyes it felt like, yknow, a rare hormonal disorder that could probably happen once in a million if it were real... but it's been excessive like alphas who can magically give betas a uterus, or "golden" whatevers. it feels like evrryones trying to make their male leads stand out but it just makes it more Y/N coded instead.

It'd be better if someone made one what focused more on the biology, laws, sociology and worldbuilding that would exist, or more like secretive XX where it's JUST become a thing in the world. Or even something like a story behind the shift of alphas being hated -> alphas being in power -> shift in equality.

There actually is one that's exploring the beginning of A/B/O in the world and it's pretty interesting. It's nice to see an omegaverse story that's not focusing just on the "person A meets person B" of it all and is also focusing on the genre as a whole.

Genuinely forgot about the "recessives", which is crazy, because now it seems like they're always making the omegas the one magical recessive who got pregnant on the first try. *eye roll*
If the main characters aren't interesting enough to stand out without super special adjectives in front of their traits then frankly they need to go back to the drawing board.

I honestly hate the misuse of recessive/dominant as a cheap way to say inferior/superior in ABO universes. A recessive and dominant would be much more biologically compatible than a dominant and dominant pair. :/ Dominant just means broader!
