What do you mean Ashley don't have emotions..... He was wayyyy full of emotions but it was more directed towards Koi mainly. Can't blame him, Koi is the only person who I think he would consider as proper family since Koi is there with him since high school
He says himself that he’s incapable of feeling “normal emotions”. Yes he’s very emotional when it comes to Koi but that’s literally it. After presenting as a dominant alpha and also due to his brain issues his feelings have been only directed towards Koi, if it isn’t about Koi he’s basically emotionless. That’s what I meant by Ash not having any emotions.

It’s so refreshing to see Chase be with a positive influence. Joshua genuinely cares about Chase and acts on behalf of Chase’s best interests and that warms my heart knowing that Chase grew up in a family where he felt alienated. After reading LMUIYC I don’t blame Chase for turning out the way he did, especially since Ashley couldn’t feel emotions and Koi didn’t know how to handle “extreme alpha children”. He was emotionally neglected as a child and having Grayson and Stacey as his older siblings (along with Nathaniel) did not help in any way. Chase was basically the weird one just because he was more “sensitive” and actually expressed his emotions. Also so happy to see Joshua punch Grayson. I know that some people will defend Grayson by saying he’s an extreme alpha and therefore lack social awareness but I honestly still dislike him after knowing that. Grayson messed Chase’s life up so badly that I feel like someone HAD to punch some sense into Grayson (Dane is gonna do that too though). It makes me really happy to see that Chase also isn’t like Ashley and that Joshua also has a backbone and strong willpower. I love them sm and their dynamic, they complement each other so well.
