Are all men who read smut THAT fugly? I'm so sorry for yall…

Art is gorgeous (for the girl). One thing I envy in male-oriented smut is how they make everything shiny and malleable — skin, body fluids, hands sink in the soft parts, I wish yaois had more of this.
One thing I do NOT envy is how fugly the MCs all are. I know the are supposed to be male self inserts but holy fuck, couldn't put even a little effort? Some shine to his skin? A nicer ass? I only read the first two chapters, but even covered by clothes the girls pussy had shine and shadows to create depth, while the guy bulge was just a fuckass two block color tent. How are you, as a guy, unable to draw a proper bulge? Is your bulge that boring? Unappealing??? I keep imagining that every man who writes or is a fan of smut is inherently ugly and unattractive because there's just no fucking way. I know he is not the focus but it truly looks like two different art styles.
About the plot… Look, I love the whole wireless sex toy, a favorite of mine in yaoi, but first time reading it straight and I know why it bothers me. It's the difference, in yaoi there's a guy you like and you imagine the sex toy as him, here, it felt very much the opposite, like seeing the girl as a sex toy. Every thought about her was always "sex sex sex, I'm so lucky to see her panties, sex sex sex". Nothing sexy or alluring about that, I think this could be an anthology we're everyday it connects to a different woman and it would make no difference because that's how little emotional investment the MC had towards the FL.
Anyways, straight smut with a guy as the protagonist is always disappointing, no matter how pretty the art is. But oh well, I guess that's also reflective of how it is in real life, huh…
