Ughh! Why is update so slow!!?!! I miss jio!! She's such a fun character who has her priorities straight. Plus, she saves people when it counts and go by her morals. Even if she's stronger than anyone, she can't always go to save everyone so her attitude is just the perfect fit for her power.
Like- imagine there's this big crisis where jio failed to save everyone. If prior to this, she was always saving people just cus she's powerful, the one time she failed, people won't hesitate to curse her out bc they take her for granted. But with the way she's living, even if such a situation arise, they'll still be grateful even just to have her.
Sometimes great power does not always means u have to be there in every little trouble. It's just stupid to think "oh she's powerful so why is she not saving people". The circumstances greatly influence how her power is to be used
Also, another such example is one we've already witnessed. Jio's father was the only one who awakened and just bc of that, the people pushed him to sacrifice himself, knowing damn well he's only E(or f) rank so he can't do much. They knew that going out to fight is the same as killing oneself and to add to that, he had his daughter to protect, but they did not hesitate to push him out anyway. And that's also the trigger for jio to want to live a 'normal' life of a slacker. And to add to that is her mother's wish that jio would stay out of trouble and just be a sheltered girl.
I think people who say jio is 'annoying' or whatever just can't understand characters with complexities. Like- if u can't comprehend it, just stick to ur generic slops. It's better that way for ur brain
