My nephew was brought home in a car seat when he was a few days old— it’s common to put newborns into carseats, but you can’t let them stay in them for very long bc they’re at a higher risk of suffocating since they can’t hold their heads up. About 15-30 minutes at a time is all that is recommended.

In some countries you have to bring them out of the hospital in a car seat. But not one like that. More like the Maxi cozy ones where babies are lying. They can't sit. Maybe omegaverse babies are born looking like they are six months old but considering they've been born from a dad without space for them, they should be really small. This baby looks too old.
