I realised a lot of authors make their main characters- specifically the male leads-- in universe homphobic. What's normalised in Omegaverse? An alpha-omega couple. Beta-beta couples. All males leads may 'fool' around with betas but they consider omegas their soulmates. Grayson says "You are just a beta" as a throwaway comment but it's also inherently whatever passes for homphobic in an omegaverse. Chase is not like that tho, cuz he was crazy in love with Joshua even when he thought Josh was a beta. But across the many omegaverse I've read, I've always found it icky how betas were being treated in it. #loveislove #allgendersequal
