And yeah there are stories involving slaves, but they at least had the decency to make it completely set in a fictional world that didn't have lasting repercussions that still occur to this very day. Not to say those stories are any better due to be fiction, but I don't have stories from my grandparents stating what they faced in those not real stories

I'm also black and I'm not offended , you guys take thing straight to the heart there are so many authors out there who right about pure slavery and plus this manhwa takes place in a time were there was slavery and don't y'all think it would inconvenience some people if the author gave an exact year but failed to give an aligning time line or story , it just make the story more fun . I mean the one of our ml's is a person of colour (black)and it's fine .
