Yes. Is one character white? And is one character Native American? That was my question. I was confused on whether or not the ml was black or Native American, bc I was reading both in the comments. U r adding the “just a story” part. Obviously things don’t exist in a vacuum. I acknowledged that when I said that things r more complex than what I was letting on in my comment. no there isnt but the way the author and the artist is making it seem like a white savior trope which is not ok. if they wanted to set this in a civil war timeline, lets not make it insensitive by using the words master and shit like that. nobody knows the true race of the other ML who is a rancher yet but nobody is goin to sit through 50+ chapters of a white savior. its not the races we are mad or pressed about, its just the way the storyline is already being set up like a white savior trope.
