Really? I’ve seen several set in fantasy times—- or any of the prison themed ones. If you type slave into the search bar there’s like 63 pages of comics with it. Now say half of them are corporate slaves, you’ve still got a lot of slave-master stories out there. The power dynamics are crazy.

I mean what you’re describing is the rape to romance trope that is littered throughout manhwa and manga especially in the 2010s.

However you take this information, none of this is particularly groundbreaking. But maybe this is the straw that breaks the camels back.

I think they're referring to the slave trope in historical manhwas where the slaves are always pale skinned and in love with their masters and sometimes the villains, you know like Rashta from remarried empress

ok but what i’m talking abt is obviously the fact that this story sets place in an extremely sensitive time in real life history, and i’m genuinely baffled that the author decided to use this as a setting for a bl. and the white dudes slave owner family is dead and we’re supposed to feel bad abt that like tf.
