it still doesn’t make sense

Gentothegeisha June 25, 2026 2:24 pm

alongside literally every personality assaulting him
=_= the mugos split personalities doesn’t make sense, considering multiple personality disorder is generally the result of severe and consistent trauma to CHILDREN (before they’re sense of self fully develops) but mugo was a whole ass teenager.. if anything borderline personality disorder would make more sense, but that doesn’t involve multiple distinct personalities.. and clearly this author has a thing for threesomes, foursomes, and.. most notably.. rape.

i’m still gonna hate on the fact that this author created a system of alters (incorrectly, further demonizing/fetishizing the condition) and included HELLA FUCKIN RAPE

you should voice put this criticism where the author will have a likelihood to see. its more productive that way than rambling on here where nobody cares as long as theyre able to read

    disregard “put”

The alter is not a disorder. It's actually his soul part that failed to eradicated in order to be true god/mugo. 1. Muhan his identity as human 2. The child/monster mugo his childhood (? Not sure about this one) 3.The main his desire 4. Is sir mugo the uncompleted god/cursed mugo. The well god also explain this although not so detailed.

    P. S. I think the eradicated order is important in explaining theirs power order like how muhan is almost gone and barely there

By what I mean is it no a representative of DID but just a plot tool
Hope I use the right word in explaining things #-.-) ESL is a struggle lol

This isn't meant to be a depiction of Dissociative Identity Disorder or any psychological disorder. The versions of Mugo are due to a magical ritual. Omegaverse also portrays people with animal traits which... Omegaverse is inherently problematic and causes both parties to behave in a manner counter to their actual will depending on how the universe deals with pheromones, rut, and heat. But it's not meant to accurately portray DID.

Nah this is definitely too woke, while i do think that there needs to be better stories that represent did... literally from the early chapters this hasnt been an accurate representation considering yk I dont think that that was meant to be the goal. Anyways why are you even looking for accurate representation in these kinds of BL if you read slop you're going to get slop and you ask why theres no pickles in your mashed up burger pasta tf. ☠ and i dont think the average person would be dumb enough to make this BL a point of reference for real world disorders when yk theyre just here for mostly the smut of it all. Although the story would have improvements if it was more accurate. Additionally

Why is your ass so concerned about "but! DID happens in early childhood development" dude he got sacked and they want to turn him into a god which is a deeply traumatizing process... Point is, it's exploring multiple personalities in a fictional lense through unlimited fictional bounds that dont exist in the real world.

its really odd because they obviously keep up with the story despite claiming to hate it. if ur gonna continue to read, why not advocate for the change you want to see instead of ranting again and again knowing you will continue to dislike the direction it is going.

the author clearly wants muhan depicted as innocent and wants it all blamed on pheromones while condemning the other alphas for how omegas have been treated WHILE depicting that torturing a child is not the correct way. its not a pretty picture and the narrative is motivated by sex but author’s views and overall moral of the story is shown through jaheon’s thought and speech bubbles. like yeah some scenes are in bad taste and if u truly hate it do something about it

I appreciate that they kept it loyal to omega verse themes, an alpha meeting his fated mate and immediately being thrown into an uncontrollable rut has been the centerpiece of the omega verse since its conception. Its designed to play into both adult only kinks and also force you to contemplate how people would respond in these situations. This series did a great job and maintaining the humanity in an omega verse world where you would have to deal emotionally, and battle with these concepts and experiences.

Most people do not want characters like jaehon or any one else thats relatable to rape victims because they want all media to be digestible to the masses in a near conservative lens because they believe women cant separate real life morality from fictional books and stories designed to make you think. Most conservatives only want books to be devoid of humanity, a type of moral superiority that has an absence of representation for people who have suffered. Like jaehon. Largely due to the desire to control adults and push their own personal beliefs onto them.

I can promise you, highly conservative mentality has never been accepted in Fandom spaces or smut spaces. Nobody likes a scarlet letter conservative

Yeah doesn't seem like this is meant to represent very specific disorders. It's mostly supernatural magics and maybe trauma. It didn't even occur to me that the different mugos would be linked to any of those disorders. If anything it just makes me curious about the curse, that's all.
