This is insane (flashback chapter)

So what we're leaning is alpha ML developed an obsession with omega MC and assaulted him, and then when other omegas kidnap ML to sacrifice him, everything gets even worse. They call out MC for defending ML since ML assaulted him, but MC points out that the village raised him to submit to alphas. This is a nightmare for me; MC has a point, but I feel like that's supposed to be an excuse for the assault--that since he was raised to be used to it, ML assaulting him isn't something he dwells on, especially as he develops feelings. Plus there's the fact that they're talking about new world order (no, not that one), but none of that seems to be reflected in the present--or maybe it is, but the focus on the main couple over the worldbuilding hasn't allowed us to digest that. And I have the worst feeling that this "curse" ML put on MC's family is gonna be linked to the sacrifice--which is crazy since from what we were told, MC betrayed ML, but according to the flashback, ML assaulted MC and omegas got revenge on ML because alphas were always doing stuff like that since they were at the top of the social hierarchy. Any leverage ML may have had for revenge doesn't look good now, since MC didn't really do anything wrong. Even if he ends up participating in killing ML, it's not like ML didn't do anything to him. "I SA'd him and he helped kill me so I'm getting revenge" is absurd, if we go that route.

Also wanna point out that having kids/childbearing is VERY MUCH understated; it's mentioned past-life MC gave birth to three alphas and never saw them again, and one of the omegas who kidnaps and injures ML points out that for all he knew, he was the one who gave birth to ML. It's all conversational, but not very deep. The idea of having kids feels very overlooked here, and even in the main storyline the MC having kids with the god ML isn't mentioned. Heck, it's been a while since his family tried to pull some slick stuff. What happened to that? There's a lot going on.
