It wasn't terrible per say but it was a little more than just basing him off character in a novel, especially for someone like Juheon. Juheon has major trust issues naturally, and Dohu is a little... Odd when it comes to understanding human emotions. He forced his way into Juheon's life with the sole purpose of analyzing his character for his novel, but he had Juheon believing Dohu had feelings for him, and even starting dating him despite not feeling any attraction for him (at least that he knew of at the time), all while Juheon was none the wiser and had seriously fallen in love with him badd. Now take all that into account, and imagine how it would feel for someone who'd been used all their life to find out that the person they had fallen madly in love with not only led them on, but did is solely for their own gain. And to top it off, thanks to Dohu's special lack of empathy, he didn't even try to properly explain himself, leaving Juheon to believe he didn't care. Now he's back after 4 years trynna pry his way into Juheon's life again and Juheon has no clue as to why (again). That's where we're at right now if that helps you understand why Juheon is acting like an abused cat in the corner of a cage at a rescue shelter.

bruh maybe im a really bad person with terrible moral judgement but i feel like what dohu didnt wasnt even allat bad to cause all this heartbreak torment
