Well, the point of the torture is to make the MC submissive to Jooyeon, which took some time and does indeed leave us all with a bitter aftertaste. I've never read the story except for the newest chapter but this is so sad to see the mc acting like this it's like he's lost his sense of self. It's just weird for a story like this to be made. Gay men get such weird rep and characters in these bl stories. Some stories like Passion can pull it off but it's whatever I just wanted to share what It thought about this not tryna argue today. But I'm not saying it's bad to read this...
