He keeps saying "it's for the baby's sake / it's all for the baby" because he thinks mc wouldn't like it but mc will think he doesn't even care about him after awhile and this will definitely cause a problem. Kinda predictable, I must admit, but oh well....i'm a sucker for this kinda subplot teehee
