TJ is narrating to Sumin what he expects Sumin to record as a testimony ultimately. Hence the "That's more like it". Chiwoon kills Sumin though. Her ing being smaller than her actual size is just symbolic that this was never meant to happen anyways. The whole masterplan was bound to fail.

When YW goes to Big Teddy to return the money, clear his name, and negotiate for TJ, Big teddy tells him TJ had already been there. And negotiated for YW's life with an offer that was hard to resist. The offer? TJ's plan all along. He would be the one to destroy K35 execs with his own hands. A nuisance that Brown Bear was eager to get rid of anyways. In return, TJ asks Big Teddy to spare YW's life and limbs. He knows that YW will go to Big Teddy to return the money. Notice how both YW and TJ keep centering the other in negotiations. YW is willing to give his limbs and life to have TJ's name cleared. TJ is planning to walk into a potential death trap to destroy it all just to keep YW safe.

Power, and climbing to the top, was never the end in itself for TJ. It was always a means to an end. The end, for him, was always YW. The reason he starts desperately accruing power early on is precisely because he knows how powerless they both are, as boys, in a world of men that has exploited them. For TJ. power becomes a tool to keep YW safe. And to ultimately be with him. That he and YW are intimately involved seems an open secret in the gang btw. Everyone knows. Yet no one talks anymore, precisely because TJ has power. TJ also uses sleeping with women as a smoke screen. Chiwoon knows all this. Which is why he confronts TJ after the wedding massacre. And pushes TJ to confront his own feelings finally. Chiwoon is one of my fav characters actually. Straight up MVP. He is the true blood brother to TJ. Loyal to a fault. But also, incredibly observant and attuned to TJ and his inner feelings and thoughts.

TJ believes once he's at the top, he can have the freedom of being with YW unapologetically. But YW has already rejected that offer. He isn't interested in being there. So now al that power, and the top, had been rendered meaningless for TJ.

As for TJ looking at his knuckles/palms: that's open to interpretation. My reading is that he's just destroyed everything he worked for with his own hands, and is empty handed now. His knuckles have injuries from smashing the mirror after Chap 83 argument with YW. It all goes back to YW. Empty palms... Nothing left. Nothing but the bruises they've inflicted on themselves, and each other. So time to come clean and own up to that shit.
