This is literally just gay Y/N. It's full of clichés, but honestly, that's whatever clichés exist because they work. That's not even my issue. My problem is... this man is SO TOXIC. I honestly feel like I'm being gaslit by the amount of positive comments I'm seeing here and all over social media. Like... are we reading the same thing??? It also feels like everyone is only focusing on the seme's money. I get it we're in the middle of a recession, and financial stability is probably one of the most desirable traits in a partner right now. Everyone wants to live comfortably. But y'all keep saying he's "spoiling" the uke... honey, he isn't spoiling him. He's conditioning him. There is such a huge power imbalance here. He's incredibly insensitive, manipulative, immature, and controlling. Even the sex scenes are hard to get through I ended up skipping them because I couldn't stand how rough he was with him. Chapters 23-24 were especially bad. He literally assaulted him while he was passed out and drunk. I'm not against reading about a toxic top who eventually grows as a character. That's a pretty common trope, and it's why I kept reading, hoping things would get better. But it's been 50+ chapters, and he's still a walking scarlet-red flag.
