In the other manga, these two are the antagonists and it happens years later after these events. The other manga's MC is a witch that happened to also contract a cat familiar (his ML). Basically, Keigo (this manga's MC, now the gang's boss) has been trying to hunt another witch, and its later revealed that he's doing it so that he can transplant the heart of a witch to his dying foster dad (the same way his dad did to him). So its basically this manga's pair VS that manga's pair LOL. Eventually, Keigo lets them go (for reasons I cant remember). And because Natsumi (dog) and the other ML (cat) were killing each other a lot, they were left with one life each, to which they decided to live their last life to the fullest with their witches- or something like that. Personally, I like Keigo and Natsumi's story a hell lot more lol

Woah, definitely gonna give the sequel a read after this! However, I'm sure this couple is definitely my favourite already, they're growing on me hell lot!! Thanks for taking ur time to explain btw ♡

A simple correction, Keigo ain't trying to kill that manga MC but just forced him to have contract using you-know-what drug. And iirc his familiar still has lots more life ( I think 6?) compared to Natsumi.

Soo I read it, Sudou(Cat Familiar ML) had 5 lives left. Asakura (This Manga MC) wanted Uno(Other Male witch) to have a contract with his father(since cat has 9 lives) so he injected him with Dr*gs(He can do transplant too ya know like come on his father's maybe in his 50s or so). Later on someone reported that his father got shot after he left the hospital and is bleeding out. In that moment Uno(Kind Male witch) urged him to at least be with his father until his last breath, so yeah that's why the Main story lived [The witch and his cat familiar].

I don't think Keigo want his dad to become witch since they can die normally unlike familiar who won't die unless you exhausted their lives, especially since he also know how hard to live as a witch. That's why he didn't ask Natsumi to kill Juichi but to capture him.

I don't understand what you mean? He do all that to turned his dad into familiar not witch, he pick random witch cos his dad refused to do "it" with him.

What I meant was, couldn't he have just asked the other witch, why did he have his familiar hunt him down, when he knew how it felt to be hunted down. He could've just asked directly

Uuuh, did you really read the previous manga? Keigo did ask Juichi first but immediately rejected which is why he tried to use drug. Even Natsumi isn't forcefully kidnapping Juichi right away, the plot happened because of Sudou.

With Natsumi personality we know he won't ask Juichi nicely, but there might be "talk" between the two witch without Sudou interference. Why not Keigo who find the witch directly? That's cos only Natsumi as a dog who can smell another witch. I don't support these "villain" but I thought their action pretty obvious especially after this manga expand their personality

They keep running away are there time to ask? As I mentioned before with Natsumi personality "nice talk" isn't even option, he chase them down with his own will, there's no point in fighting Sudou but he did it anyway. Keigo only appeared after conflict started, even if he ask them without hotel incident the results would be same since they already contracted. Sudou would oppose it since it can harm Juichi and same thing will just happen again.
Why not from beginning? How Keigo recognize who is witch without Natsumi report? When he clearly chase them down for his own fun without reporting first?
