I was so immersed in this yall dont understand. The dialogue is thought provoking and the relationship between the 2 MCs is so simple yet profound. I also really liked how complex the characterization is for both characters outside their relationship. Takeda being kind, yet somewhat apathetic to others emotions(unconsciously) which makes his kindness sometimes get the wrong reaction to people, yet also gives him more courage than others have. For Arita, he seems indifferent and distant from others at first glance, but actually his inner world is so colorful. He struggles with self reflection and others opinion of him, while also retaining some innocence toward the world and people. I feel like the two of them are two sides of the same coin. Personality wise they are different, but their values are similar. Its no wonder they are attracted to each other(whether platonically or otherwise).
I also have felt similar to them in that not everything needs an explanation or label that fits the standards of the outside world. The human language is so complex, but humans themselves are even more complicated. Why must their always be a word for every emotion or thing that we go through? This manga explores this so well.
Also the art is just so beautiful. The scene of Arita smoking on the balcony...so beautiful. Truly the "eye of the typhoon". And the scene at the aquarium and the scene in Takedas dream. This author is so talented. I don't care how their relationship progresses from here, just hope they only get even closer.
