i think that shinagawa (the girl) might have started cutting deeper or bleeding more bc she feels like it's helping MC (she said smth along the lines of i don't want to see people grow weaker again), which combined with MC sleeping on tranqs ended up killing her. in the end my theory on why MC gave his brother the blood was bc 1) he was always thinking abt how it's unfair that sai was the only one who didn't have the 'curse'/desire, and 2) so that sai would be unable to leave him/it would be harder for him to leave since he now also wants blood. i'm guessing that MC dgaf abt cutting himself and since sai is already doing it for MC i'm sure MC could push him into taking his blood i really wish we got to see what happened after but the author left it open on purpose i think. well sai cares abt his brother too much to just leave him so ig they'll be codependent forever maybe they'll streamline it by getting some blood drawing equipment so they don't have open wounds all over the place. would the taste of cold or congealed not be good for them? since MC was always eating sweets maybe they'll make food outta blood idk there's also things like blood sausage and ox blood soup that they could try making with their own blood also sai's gf seemed to have a lot of personality for a very minor character
