I think it's the first I've seen mc give better work conditions to workers ( or at least being the focus/plotpoint in the story ) like lunch break, shorter work hours, better food (that last part is more common) in a feodal setting. It's crazy when you think about it. I've already seen the trope where one particular character suffer under a toxic boss or a group but not a whole ass village serfs damn.
